Tres Agaves Products was founded in 2008 when noted Tequila aficionado and restaurateur Eric Rubin, former Cabo Wabo President Barry Augus and Brown-Forman veteran Chris Alvarez joined forces to fill a major gap in the premium Tequila market.
While the Margarita is the world’s number #1 cocktail there was no company that was dedicated to delivering the best Margaritas.
Our entire product family has been carefully designed to help people simply make the most delicious Margaritas on the planet, from our 100% Cocktail-Ready Agave Nectar and margarita mix to our award-winning line of Tequilas.
The first bottle was shipped in January of 2010.
Since launching, the brand has won a multitude of awards, including 3 out of 4 Chairman’s Trophies in the Tequila category at the venerable Ultimate Beverage Challenge—a competition boasting the world’s foremost spirits experts as judges and the most objective and rigorous adjudicating procedures yet designed for a spirits contest. In addition to these stellar achievements, the Beverage Testing Institute honored our cocktail-ready agave nectar and margarita mix with gold awards.
