Our San Francisco restaurant, located just one block from AT&T Park (Townsend between 2nd and 3rd) is a great place to stop for a margarita and a meal before or after Giants games. Our atmosphere is fun and festive while remaining sophisticated and family-friendly.
We have 4 private dining areas to accommodate groups of various sizes, including La Plaza del Agave, the most exciting private party room in San Francisco. We offer private dining, margarita making classes, Tequila tastings and more. Keep us in mind for private parties, corporate functions, and other special occasions!
Our Concept:
Tres Agaves features regional Mexican cuisine and drink, primarily from the state of Jalisco. At Tres Agaves, we celebrate the spirit of Jalisco at every opportunity and look forward to sharing that passion with you.
While our food is new to the United States, we're just taking our cue from the traditional casual restaurants of Jalisco. We serve wholesome, traditional renditions of Jaliscan and other Central Highland classics. We cook over mesquite, make newly-pressed corn tortillas throughout the day and use the freshest ingredients, from local farmers when possible.
Tres Agaves' bar program has won many awards and is widely recognized as a leader in the Tequila education and appreciation movement. We feature fresh, hand-squeezed lime margaritas which don’t skimp on the fine Tequilas that we put in them - we always use a full 2oz. pour! The only other ingredients in our renowned margaritas are fresh lime juice and our own Cocktail-Ready Agave Nectar, made from organically grown agaves. These margaritas are designed to enhance the underlying flavors of fine Tequila rather than overwhelming or masking their wonderful complexities. We also serve other inventive Tequila cocktails, plus Mexican beers on tap.
