Tres Agaves Reposado Honored as a Top 100 Spirit of 2018

Tres Agaves 100% de Agave Reposado Tequila was named one of Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Spirits of 2018.  Wine Enthusiast’s yearly list of Top 100 Spirits is formulated after reviewing all spirits included in its Spirit Buying Guide.  No shortage of competition there!   Not only did we land in the Top 100 Spirits, but with a rating of 93, Tres Agaves Reposado holds its place among the Top 5 Tequilas of 2018!   Are you also salivating for Tequila that “leads with honey and jalapeño, finishing with hints of vanilla and sweet cinnamon”?  If so, you’re in good company!

As Tres Agaves continues to grow nationally, we are committed to the excellent taste our consumers have come to expect from our Tequilas.  The best part about our Tequilas is they are as great to enjoy neat as they are in a cocktail.  Interested in simply enjoying the complex flavors found in our Tequila?  Find out where you can purchase a bottle of our 100% de Agave Blanco, Reposado, or Añejo Tequila near you!  If you’re interested in a fine cocktail featuring our award-winning Tres Agaves 100% de Agave Reposado Tequila, might we suggest a Strawberry Margarita, complete with our Organic Strawberry Margarita Mix?  You really can’t go wrong.

Reintroducing Tequila Made in Tequila

In November of 2016 we launched the multi-platform “Tequila Made in Tequila” campaign, aimed to introduce American consumers to the magical place that is Tequila, Mexico. The campaign, created by our friends at Butler Shine, Stern & Partners (BSSP), highlights the color and vivacity of the region and its people.

You can check out our website (which you are already on), videos on Vimeo, YouTube, Tres TV, and our social feeds (Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook). If you like what you see, make sure to subscribe and stay tuned—there is more coming down the pike.

The Tequila Valley is a place where the spirit manifests itself well beyond the product in our bottles. We hope that you will experience it for yourself online and in person. ¡Salud!

Tres Agaves Shines at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge

The award season for movies is over, but for Tequila, it’s just getting started.  The results are in at the Ultimate Spirits Challenge, the Oscars of the spirits world, and let’s just say that Tres Agaves is starting to look a whole lot like Jack Nicholson.  Tres Agaves is…

  • The only brand ever to score 90 or above in all three expressions: Blanco, Reposado & Añejo
  • Second-to-none across its portfolio with an average score of 91.3
  • The only Tequila to be a finalist in 2 out of 3 expressions
  • Still the holder of the highest ever single Tequila rating with a 97 for its Añejo in 2010
  • Still the all-time leader with 3 Chairman’s Trophies

USC Judge Sean Ludford

Listen to this note from USC judge Sean Ludford talking about our Blanco

“Vibrant and sweet agave aromas dominate with supporting notes of citrus, pear, and hints of wild mint. Wonderfully proportioned with a silky texture making it ideal for sipping or mixing.”

Here he is again talking about our Reposado:

“Wonderfully fresh with baked tropical fruits, complimenting barrel notes, and hints of lime juice. Ideally balanced and perfect for sipping or mixing.”

Perfect for sipping or mixing!  That’s what we’ve been saying all along!

Who’s says what’s the best?

I’ve been doing a round up of the medals, awards and accolades for a PR piece (catch it later this month!) and thought it would neat to share a listing of some of the top competitions that taste, rank and differentiate the over 20,000 beverage brands that we all love. It’s certainly not an all inclusive list but it’s a nice resource.
